college is hard. for my new readers, i am currently a sophomore at Texas Tech University. i am a double major in Early Childhood Education and Biochemistry. they are completely different majors, but they are perfect for me. i get to see how children develop physically and mentally, and all the factors that play into their lives. this year i got to be a part of so many opportunities. i was chosen as an ambassador of the College of Human Sciences and did an internship at UMC (a hospital in my hometown). but just as i was blessed with good things, bad things came along too. my faith grew, and i got closer to God.
i am not exaggerating when i tell you that if it wasn’t for Him and my father, i don’t think i would be doing the things i am doing today. they played a huge role in my life. i thank them every day.
i was given the opportunity to work with brands that i would have never thought would even glance my way. plus, i already signed a few exciting collaboration for 2019.
through instagram, i was able to meet so many gals that have encouraged me to try my hardest, and they have become some of my great friends that i can always count on.
i would tell you that i am excited to see what 2019 brings me, but if i am being honest, i am so scared. college is hard, but i know all the hard work will pay off. bring on the new year.
