Raider Power! I am so proud of how my university has gone with sports, Texas Tech. They didn’t so hot during football season, but they sure made up for it during basketball and baseball season. We went as far as Elite Eight! View Post
Background Information: I took dual credit classes in high school, so I actually transferred to college with 33 hours which makes me a sophomore. I say freshman year because it’s basically my first year of officially attending a university. View Post
Game Day! College football is a BIG deal in Texas. You know what they say. “Everything is bigger and better in Texas.” We grow up tailgating, dressing up from head to toe, and attending every game we can. It is a great environment knowing that everyone comes together for the one thing they have in common.
Game day apparel is important! You never know when you are going to appear on the camera! Most of the time I do wear casual outfits, a little accessorizing goes a long way. Today, I have partnered with Simply Be Tees to bring you the cutest game day outfit. If you live in Texas, this is your place to shop for game day tees, all under $30! Everything on the website is so cute and affordable. Plus, she has the comfiest sweatshirts ever. Stay tuned for a blog post featuring my favorite one! ALSO, stick till the end of the post for an exciting announcement! View Post
It’s hard to think of school right now since most of us just barely got out for summer break, but I can assure you that it will fly by. One thing I am super excited about is that I can finally stock up on college shirts and sweatshirts. In case y’all hadn’t read my other blog post, I chose to attend Texas Tech University. It’s hard to believe that I only own TWO college tees (this sweatshirt and one that was given to me for free by the school), but I intend on changing that this summer. This adorable sweatshirt is from an Etsy shop called Letters By Alex! Use the code “SHELLY17” for 10% off. She has the cutest sweatshirts ever, AND they are super affordable even when you’re on a budget as a broke college student. View Post
I am so excited to start my new journey at Texas Tech University. If you would have told a few years ago that I would be going here I wouldn’t have believed you. It has taken me 18 years to fall in love with Texas Tech. Growing up in Lubbock, Texas the pride for this University was/is beyond this world. The traffic was so bad on game days that it would annoy me. Texas Tech was not my first choice. I did get accepted to my college of choice, Baylor, but at the end of the day it came down to one thing, family. View Post
