It’s Friday, y’all!! I am super excited for the weekend. As a college student, I have learned to value all the precious time I have off. I either spend it with my family or give myself time. This is my second week of school, and I’m already drowning in homework. I don’t have to dress up during the week, so why not do it in the weekend. For this post, I am doing as a super fun collaboration with Marleylilly. I paired up one of my favorite rompers with this CUTE Monogrammed Scalloped Crossbody Bag from Marleylilly. It’s on SALE too!! It’s finally Monday. The day we all dread. I have been on a long journey to finding the perfect pair of skinny jeans, and I finally found them. Topshop! These jeans are a blessing; they fit perfect everywhere. I used to have a problem where my jeans would fit great at my waist but would be so baggy are the ankle that I could never wear boots. Topshop jeans may be a little expensive, but they are definitely worth the money. Plus, they last a long time. Today, I am bringing you a happy bright outfit to brighten up your day! Enjoy! (more…)
I decided to try something new this month. At the end of every month from now on, I will start doing Instagram roundups. I have seen many bloggers doing it, so why not jump on the wagon. I feel like it will bring some excitement to Timeless Brunette, and it will be a little different because not only will I be sharing pictures that are a bit more personal but also pictures you don’t get to see on my blog. Most of these are probably taken from my iPhone camera, not a DSLR camera. You can also shop these Instagram Roundups! Enjoy!
I’ve never really worn many dresses in my life, but lately, I have been drawn to so many. I am dying to buy an off-shoulder dress because they are so cute and trendy. I’ve had this dress for a while, but I never had an occasion to wear it. I paired it up with some white Jack Rogers and a black floppy hat. Ahola Darling is the cutest dress, plus it has pockets! They are so useful. It is from a company called Jadelynn Brooke. Use the code “SPHS16” for 15% off. Enjoy!
I am counting down the day for Rush Week! I can’t wait to meet my potential sisters! It will be a week full of overwhelming feeling and information. You will be making a choice that will impact your college career, but it will be worth it. Not knowing what to wear will only add to the stress, so I am helping you out. Everything I have linked below is from a website called SheIn and EVERYTHING is UNDER $20. Can you believe that?! (more…)
I’ve never worn a jumper in my life, but as soon as I saw this beauty I knew I had to have it. Plus, it made my short legs look long! The color choice was bold, but I don’t regret it because it goes perfectly for the season. I also decided to treat myself a little since it is my birthday month! I will be turning 19th on July 24th. These couple of weeks will be so stressful because I will be attending my first year of college, and I am freaking. I won’t have any of my friends with me, which is a little scary. I practically grew up with them. Anyways, back to the point, I hope you enjoy this adorable romper!! (more…)
As soon as I walked in the store and saw this t-shirt I knew I had to have it. I don’t know why it was just calling my name, plus, you can’t go wrong with Coca-Cola, right? It is so soft!! Anyone that knows me, knows I have the biggest t-shirt collection EVER! They are too comfortable. You can alway choose whether you want to dress it up or down.
It’s starting to feel a lot more like summer. With each day that goes by I get more and more anxious. Plus, senioritis is kicking my butt. I’m still not sure if I will be traveling, but I am hoping I do. Are you guys traveling? If so, where? I will most likely spend my summer stressing over college, but it’s totally fine. The cute clothes will help me get through the season. One of my favorite place to shop for cute shorts would have to be Old Navy and J.Crew. They are super affordable and comfortable.
I am so excited to start my new journey at Texas Tech University. If you would have told a few years ago that I would be going here I wouldn’t have believed you. It has taken me 18 years to fall in love with Texas Tech. Growing up in Lubbock, Texas the pride for this University was/is beyond this world. The traffic was so bad on game days that it would annoy me. Texas Tech was not my first choice. I did get accepted to my college of choice, Baylor, but at the end of the day it came down to one thing, family. (more…)
