I was nominated for the Liebster Award by an amazing blogger and a friend. The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. I would love to thank Unapologetically Kelly for nominating me for this incredible award. She has opened up my journey by allowing to be a part of her amazing community, where I have met so many bloggers that are supportive and uplifting. For this award, I was given a few questions to answer, which I appreciate because they make me think about the long journey that I had traveled to get here. Enjoy! View Post
It’s hard to think of school right now since most of us just barely got out for summer break, but I can assure you that it will fly by. One thing I am super excited about is that I can finally stock up on college shirts and sweatshirts. In case y’all hadn’t read my other blog post, I chose to attend Texas Tech University. It’s hard to believe that I only own TWO college tees (this sweatshirt and one that was given to me for free by the school), but I intend on changing that this summer. This adorable sweatshirt is from an Etsy shop called Letters By Alex! Use the code “SHELLY17” for 10% off. She has the cutest sweatshirts ever, AND they are super affordable even when you’re on a budget as a broke college student. View Post
Heading to college for the first time can be a very scary situation and exciting. You will be moving away from your family and friends, making your own choices, choosing your major, and finding your way around campus. As a freshman, there are lots of things that cause stress. You will be worrying about what to and not take to school with you. I have created a list that will cover all of your basic necessities. View Post
It’s starting to feel a lot more like summer. With each day that goes by I get more and more anxious. Plus, senioritis is kicking my butt. I’m still not sure if I will be traveling, but I am hoping I do. Are you guys traveling? If so, where? I will most likely spend my summer stressing over college, but it’s totally fine. The cute clothes will help me get through the season. One of my favorite place to shop for cute shorts would have to be Old Navy and J.Crew. They are super affordable and comfortable.
I’ve been so busy with school that I have been neglecting Timeless Brunette, but I’m back!! It’s my senior year of high school, and I can definitely say I’ve never been so stressed out in my life. On the happy note, in today’s post, I will be sharing this adorable dress from the company Jadelynn Brooke (use the code “SPHS16” for 15% off). It is perfect for spring and Easter. I was so excited when I learned that they were going to have a collection of dresses aside from their comfortable t-shirts! Hopefully, you enjoy this post! View Post
