Liebster Award

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by an amazing blogger and a friend. The Liebster Award 2017 is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. I would love to thank Unapologetically Kelly for nominating me for this incredible award. She has opened up my journey by allowing to be a part of her amazing community, where I have met so many bloggers that are supportive and uplifting. For this award, I was given a few questions to answer, which I appreciate because they make me think about the long journey that I had traveled to get here. Enjoy! (more…)

IMG_7405

It’s hard to think of school right now since most of us just barely got out for summer break, but I can assure you that it will fly by. One thing I am super excited about is that I can finally stock up on college shirts and sweatshirts. In case y’all hadn’t read my other blog post, I chose to attend Texas Tech University. It’s hard to believe that I only own TWO college tees (this sweatshirt and one that was given to me for free by the school), but I intend on changing that this summer. This adorable sweatshirt is from an Etsy shop called Letters By Alex! Use the code “SHELLY17” for 10% off. She has the cutest sweatshirts ever, AND they are super affordable even when you’re on a budget as a broke college student. (more…)

The cute clothes will help me get through the season. One of my favorite place to shop for cute shorts would have to be Old Navy and J.Crew. They are super affordable and comfortable.

Ditching Instagram Themes

Screen Shot 2017-03-11 at 8.24.32 PM.jpg

Instagram themes are so stressful to me. There is this idea out there in the world that having an Instagram theme is everything in the world. I used to believe this too but with time I realize that it wasn’t letting me express who I truly was. I felt that it was limiting what I could or couldn’t post plus at times it made you leave out great pictures because they didn’t fit in. It was too restricting. (more…)
