Hi everyone! I know how hard it is to study in general. I have struggled for a long time, and I finally found a few methods that actually work. After summer time, it usually takes me a while to get the hang the school again. I forget how to study and concentrate during class.

Here are a few tips and tricks that have worked for me.

Take handwritten notes

It is really important to take handwritten notes because it helps one understand the lecture better and keeps you away from being distracted. Trust me, every time I type my notes I usually end up in some type of social media or buying something online. You can later transfer your notes into your computer.

Make an outline

After writing the notes you can always create an outline that will condense the lecture into more important notes.

Study in ADVANCE

I am a major procrastinator. It is difficult for me to study in advance, but I have learned that even looking over the notes at least 3 times has helped me get better grades. During this process, I print my outline and study it. Writing small notes on the margins helps me remember many of the notes.

Study with friends

I cannot express to you how much it has helped me to study with my friends, especially for my anatomy class.  We help each other remember terms and information, and we share the ways we memorize notes because we all have different ways.

Stay organized

My planner has literally everything about my life. I recommend investing in one. They are super helpful and come in handy when you have to write the dates for a deadline. I know you guys most likely have reminders on your phones, and you probably just hit ignore or done (that’s what I do), you can’t do that with a planner.

Hopefully, I was able to help you find new methods for studying. If you have your own way that helps you, comment down below because I want to know it!
